CYSIAM awarded CREST accreditation
CYSIAM, the cyber security consultancy based at Bletchley Park, is delighted to announce that it has been awarded accredited member status by CREST, the internationally recognised accreditation and certification body. This accreditation initially covers CYSIAM’s Penetration testing services and the company is working hard to add more categories in the very near future. CYSIAM is now operating in its second year and has already met many important milestones including last year being appointed as an Implementing Partner of the Hague-based Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) – www.thegfce.org.
CYSIAM is approved as a supplier by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) on the following government frameworks: Cyber Services 3; DOS4; G-Cloud 11; R-Cloud; and are also accredited under the JOSCAR pre-qualification scheme for the Aerospace, Defence and Security sectors. The company is certified to ISO:9001 and Cyber Essentials, whilst also recognised by the MOD’s Employers Recognition Scheme (ERS) for its support for reservists, veterans and service leavers.
“I am really pleased that our technical delivery team, led by our CTO David Allan, has received the recognition it fully deserves from CREST, especially this early in our company’s development. We make sure that every engagement we perform is tailored and bespoke to the client, but we never compromise on our professional and ethical standards.” – Steve Lancaster, CYSIAM CEO.
“CREST is delighted to welcome CYSIAM as an accredited member company. To become CREST accredited, companies go through a very demanding assessment process that examines test methodologies, legal and regulatory requirements, data protection standards, logging and auditing, internal and external communications with stakeholders, as well as how test data security is maintained. CREST accreditation enables CYSIAM to demonstrate to its customers and to the Industry as a whole, that it is committed to consistently delivering the highest professional security services standards.” – Ian Glover, President of CREST.
